SUPPORTING #JAMMIESINJUNE

This Winter weather has us wishing we could be in our PJs all day!

 

Unfortunately not everyone is so lucky to have warm PJs this Winter so through the #JammiesinJune initiative by the Middlemore Foundation we can all do our part to help. The Middlemore Foundation is a registered charity supporting families living in impoverished conditions which has a huge impact on their health, homes and education.

We have been donating to the #JammiesinJune initiative for quite a few years now as many children and families are sleeping in damp, cold living conditions with minimal warmth to keep them from getting sick. These are preventable illnesses such as rheumatic fever and even respiratory diseases. So together we can help try change that.

During June every year you can support the Middlemore Foundation through:

• - Donating new, or second hand Pyjamas
• - Make a donation in lieu of a pair of Pyjamas – these funds will be used to purchase Pyjamas, blankets, socks, beanies and other warm items of clothing to help keep children in need warm this winter.
• - Join the Cold for the Cause fundraiser, or host your own fundraiser
• - Sign up to be a drop off point for PJs
