JASMINE GOMMERS - SALES MANAGER
What is your role with Band of Boys?
Tell us a bit about how you came to work at Band of Boys?
I started fresh in early 2018. After being an OG Band of Boys and Harlow fan for my boy.
Take us through what a typical day for you looks like?
My days vary a lot, depending on where we are at in the season, which is great for my personality! I will ALWAYS start my work day with a cup of tea while going through my emails and planning my day. If I am not on the road working with stockists on new season ranges, I am generally planning and organising the next seasons selling. I will spend time getting feedback from stockists, and implementing ways we can make sure the next season runs as smoothly as possible. For me, the selling season starts well before the stores have seen a new range. Maintaining strong relationships and constant communication with our stockists is all year round, and I will work with stockists individually in season to help with sell-through, whether it is in store training of staff on our brand and garments, or getting them some custom content from our Creative Designer.
What is your all-time favourite item by Band of Boys?
The SS17 Triangle patch crew!
What's your mini man's favourite item?
Definitely the AW21 Fluffy bomber jacket.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Being on the road, helping our stockists put together an amazing range from new collections.
Winter or Summer season? Which do you prefer?
For fashion, definitely winter, Love me some layers!
What is life like outside of Band of boys?
Life can be a bit crazy outside of work, juggling everyone's activities and over committing myself to social events. An ideal weekend for me is a lazy weekend at home with the family, snuggling our cat and planning for the week ahead. We try to get away for snow trips in Winter and camping trips in Summer, the kids are always so much happier when they’re spending time outside.
What is your go to staple item for a boy?
Can never go wrong with a pair of panel trackies.
Tell us something people may not know about Band of Boys...
It used to be called Harlow Kids!
