Temperatures are rising, and after what has felt like the longest winter on record summer is finally—finally!—here. We are all desperate to get outside, and this means changing up our lounge pants for something more temperature appropriate. And what is a more perfect option for cool relaxed dressing than shorts? Ahead, the summer shorts our mini’s will be wearing to keep cool this summer.
THE LOUNGE SHORT
We all just want to feel comfortable all of the time, especially on a hot day and the lounge short is the perfect wear all day everyday piece. We like to think of these lounge shorts as the summer version of trackpants.

I’ll be the first to admit I was confused when stretch shorts first appeared on runways a few years ago. But thanks to their practicality I have come to appreciate their place in our modern wardrobes. Wear them with a cool tee or under your favourite dress or skirt so you can still hang upside down whenever the mood strikes.

Thanks to their length, shorts present an excellent opportunity to experiment with colours or patterns you might not consider in full-length pants. These bold styles pack a punch without overwhelming your entire look. In our opinion, these statement shorts are best worn with the co-ordinating tee.
