We caught up with Ina Odak aka @work.life.mama a mega blogger, girl boss, influencer and mama to a gorgeous boy on her life as a mum, her personal style and what inspires her in life and motherhood. My name is Ina and I am the Creative Director behind lifestyle brand, work.life.mama. We live in Melbourne (and have a beach house on the Mornington Peninsula) and have a little man called Luka who is 2.5 this month. We are about to start a big reno + extension to our house which is our focus for the year! We also love to travel and can't wait to hit the slopes this Winter.
Boys rule. Tell us your 3 most loveable or curious things about having boys.
Boys do rule. Although girls kinda rule too right? I love how active Luka is. I'm really active too so it works for me. He's also super cheeky and really bossy, haha! I'm not quite sure how long I will find that endearing.
Can you share a precious mama-son moment you’ve had recently?
He cracks me up all the time. We went to Tassie recently and it was super fun. On the first day, Hubby was working so Luka and I spent the day in a small coastal town called Kingston adventuring and exploring - walking the beaches, climbing the driftwood, hiking ... they are the best days.
What are your ‘can’t live without’ things to make life with boys easier?
Wipes? Seriously, how did we live before without wipes? Luka is also really into cars, trucks and all things construction so we always have a bunch of our faves packed in a little backpack that we take wherever we go.
What do you feel are the 3 most versatile garments in a boy’s wardrobe?
For Winter, definitely sweats, jackets and beanies.
What are your top mum style go-to outfits?
I'm not sure I really have go-to outfits, more go-to staples including skinny jeans, white or grey tees, oversize knits and sneakers!
Where do you get your personal style inspiration from?
My Dad, bloggers, magazines. It has to be stylish yet functional.
What else inspires you as a woman and as a mama?
Lots of things inspire me and I am fortunate to be surrounded by people who I find inspirational each day. But nothing inspires me more than my son, he's a total legend!
